The Ringer

Johnny Knoxville, Brian Cox, Katherin Heigel, Jed Rees, Bill Chott

Directed by Barry Blaustein

Rated PG-13

Steve Barker (Knoxville) is a typical, good-hearted loser. He gets in a financial jam when his gardener loses his fingers under the lawn mower. In an act of desperation, he fakes a mental challenge and tries to rig the Special Olympics. The Ringer is an OK comedy, but has a flat liner of an ending.
