MTSU Fashion Show: Event proceeds go to Asian literacy

Students of MTSU’s Textiles, Merchandising and Design Department held a fashion show in the James Union Building on April 2. All proceeds from the ticket sales went to the Pennies for Peace organization, which promotes child literacy in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and proclaims that while a penny is worth little to an American, it can buy an Asian child a pencil, and help them along a path to a better future.
