Revising ancient history

The historical time-line accepted by archaeologists regarding the development of ancient civilizations on planet Earth needs revision in light of a growing body of unanswered questions. I want to share one of my favorite anecdotes that supports the existence of highly advanced civilizations during a period when humans were thought to be using bones and rocks for just about everything.

Tiahuanacu is located in the Bolivian Andes, 12,500 feet above sea-level and about 150 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Oddly, Tiahuanacu appears to contain the ruins of an ancient seaport although the nearest body of water (Lake Titicaca) is 12 miles away. The area surrounding Tiahuanacu is also full of fossil remains from aquatic animals and plants. Interestingly, oceanic creatures can presently be found in in the salty waters of the nearby lake, indicating that it was once a part of the ocean. Tiahuanacu is located 2 miles above sea level. Nothing weird about that, right?

The seaport at Tiahuanacu is called Puma Punku and means “Door of the Puma”. It’s composed of enormous stone blocks that have been scattered like toy blocks despite weighing over 100 tons each. No one has explained how these blocks were quarried and transported from the quarries to the building site or how the builders managed to place such huge blocks to make this massive complex. Many of the blocks weigh upwards of 200 tons and are in some cases held together by large, metallic, I-shaped couplers, rather than interlocking shapes. So not only were they heavy but they were fastened together in place.

Archeology generally dates the city at only 200 A.D. But just what the hell happened here that could have destroyed this place in the last thousand years? My personal conclusion is that it happened much earlier and the cause is probably related to the reason that we now have a piece of the Atlantic Ocean in the Altiplano region of the Andes Mountains that is 2 miles above sea level. I think the 200 AD date is horse crap, and I’m not alone.

One of first investigators to study Tiahuanacu was a Polish engineer named Arthur Posnansky. He dedicated fifty years to studying Tiahuanacu and dated its origins to 15,000 B.C. He theorized that a sudden violent tilt in the axis of the earth occurring some 12,000 years ago was responsible. Several pieces of evidence support his conclusion.

The story becomes even more strange. One of the more intriguing clues he used to support his conclusion was that animals depicted on an ancient monolith (a big rock) at the site are believed to have been extinct for at least 10,000 years. During the Pleistocene era both Cuverionius, an elephant-like creature, and toxadon, a species related to the rhino, lived in the region; but both disappeared with the Pleistocene Extinction some 11,000-12,000 years ago.

The combination of depictions of extinct animals and a seaport existing at an altitude of 12,500 feet above sea level led Posnansky to look for other indications that the ruins might be extremely ancient. A temple called Kalasasaya located at the site provided the evidence he was looking for. Within the positioning and construction of structure he discovered alignments with the sun which were slightly “out of true”; however, he found that they aligned perfectly when the sky charts were adjusted to how they would have looked 15,000 years ago.

Posnansky knew that the angle of our planet’s tilt is not constant and goes back and forth. A complete cycle requires approximately 41,000 years to complete. The alignment of the Kalasasaya temple is consistent with a tilt in the earth’s axis, which according to astronomers, indicates a date of 15,000 B.C.

While most archaeologists will still argue with these conclusions for various reasons, there is a mountain of evidence to support similar theories. I have every reason to believe that the truth about mankind’s hidden past will reveal itself and people like me will have the last Palabra.
