My boyfriend and i are at four months now and we just told each that we love one another. Things are good and we are living together, but just after he told me he loved me, I got my acceptance letter for a five-month internship in Florida with Walt Disney.
I have done the distance thing before, as has he, but I’m still unsure about going.
I have two weeks to decide and I would be gone January through May. He and I are really good together and I honestly see a good future with him. Do you think it would be good for me to go do this internship or not?
? J. Michael
Congrats on the whole relationship thing, and on the internship offer.
My first question: Is this internship going to help you in your career?
From my experience, most people who intern there are doing it because it would be fun, not because it will further their career. If this is the case then think about what will happen if you take it.
Can you be faithful to him? If your answer is yes, then there is a really good chance that he will do the same. How strong is your love? Do you think that he would cheat on you? These are the types of questions that you have to ask yourself.
Talk to him and see what the two of you think that you should do. If you are truly in a good relationship then together you will come up with the right decision. Good Luck!
I recently have been experimenting with different drugs. However I don’t have a lot of information on them.
I am getting scared that I may be messing with stuff that I shouldn’t be. Can you tell me what you think about marijuana, and ecstacy?
? Barrett
Well there is nothing wrong with smoking a little herb every once in a while. It is a natural herb, and we should all band together to legalize it.
However marijuana has a tendency to make people lazy, so watch that. The only reasons that the government can come up with for people not to smoke weed are:
1. It kills brain cells. (Holding your breath kills brain cells.)
2. It leads to harder drugs. (Only because it is sold on the black market, as are harder drugs.)
3. It causes lung cancer. (There has never been a case of lung cancer with someone who has only smoked marijuana and not cigarettes.)
In all of my days, I have been around people who smoke I have seen it help nausea, headaches, ADD, depression, insomnia and boredom.
As for ecstacy, that is a whole different story. This drug drains your serotonin, which is your happy drug. Sure it will feel great while you are doing it, but your temperature rises, causing holes to be burned in your brain. This is why people have to drink so much water while they are on it.
I personally have known someone that took a pill and a half and died. She had a heart murmur, which many people have, and don’t even know it.
Yes you can die the first time that you take X. Also because of the serotonin drainage you will be depressed for days afterward. This is why most people continue to take it over and over, so they can feel happy again.
If you feel as though you must do this drug, take precaution. I strongly suggest that you don’t.
Do some research for yourself before you ever try a drug.
Do guys like to be asked out by girls? I have never had a boyfriend and the thought of going up to a guy gives me an anxiety attack (not literally). Should I just wait for the right guy to come along?
? Miranda
Of course guys liked to be asked out. It takes a lot of pressure off of themselves. Imagine how they feel when they ask girls out. Relieve him and ask him out. You never know what will happen. Maybe that guy has a thing for you and he is scared to ask you. Jump on it!
