The top six bartenders at the Murfreesboro T.G.I. Friday’s recently squared off in a bartender competition to see who had the skills to show their top flair and move on to the next level.

Customers packed the bar area Thursday, Aug. 21, as the crew took turns spinning bottles to pumping music.

The competition also involved a written exam that tested the bartenders and servers on their food, drink and service knowledge.

Courtney Allund won the Murfreesboro round and will go on to the Sept. 24 regional competition at the West End Friday’s.

A silent auction benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the ticket money the customers paid to come in and have a good time also went to the charity.
