1. Five Senses
1602 W Northfield Blvd.
615-867-4155
French/Southern cuisine. Beautiful, modern atmosphere and great dishes, with a focus on ambiance and a friendly staff. February 14 by reservation only. Will offer a three-course meal with two options on each course, and a great wine list. Price: $75 per couple.
2. B McNeel’s
215 N Church St.
615-896-1002
Southern cuisine, excellent food, cozy environment, reasonable prices (seafood pretty high). For the flavor of Murfreesboro, this locally famous landmark eatery may just be your perfect choice for that hopefully perfect Valentine’s Day dining experience.
3. Milano’s
79 Mall Circle Rd.
615-849-7999
Italian cuisine, beautifully simple atmosphere, food is a little pricey but it is well worth it. Milano’s has the best tiramisu I have ever eaten, and I grew up in an Italian household?Shh don’t tell!
4. Marinas On the Square
125 N Maple St.
615-849-8881
Italian cuisine, intimate atmosphere, good food, excellent wine, and very reasonably priced. Within walking distance of several hot live music venues and bars. Marina’s is my personal favorite, as one of the most romantic nights of my life began with dinner there.
5. Carrabba’s
544 N Thompson Ln Suite E 615-890-6693
Italian cuisine, more on the Mediterranean side, lots of garlic olive oil and fish dishes, good wine, great service but high prices, warm atmosphere though harder to be romantic. Carrabba’s is newer to Murfreesboro and offers a fresh alternative to those who have experienced most other restaurants already.
