Cry Room plays Aug. 19: Night blends aural and visual art

The Cry Room will provide its experimental yet polished sound as the crowd is invited to view the creations of local artists Ignite, Jeff Bertrand, Candice Vincent and more.

The art show and performance will be Saturday, Aug. 19, at The Bluesboro Rhythm and Blues Co. The Gallery will open at 7 p.m. while the band takes the stage at 8 p.m.

Dinner packages for two may be purchased for $29 and includes entree, shrimp, potato, salad and a glass of wine or beer for each person. Otherwise the cover is $6.

Aural and visual stimulation shall be blushed in wine to enhance your chakra balance, the band says.

The Cry Room blends British and American rock influences to create their broad sound. Ever changing electronic effects layer on top of basic steady beats as their thoughtful, dreamy compositions rise and fall.
