Well, the trip to Myrtle Beach was great, away from this God-forsaken Murfreesboro. I’m just playing, everyone needs a little time away, I heard her say, though.
There was plenty of sitting around in the sand and sun, the vacation was near perfect, besides the casino boat that shook up my girlfriend’s delicate stomach and the jellyfish that molested my arm. I got back at that jellyfish and all of the other sea creatures at the buffet, though. I ate everything from mahi mahi to mussels. Take that fishes! I could have eaten at CiCi’s five times for the price of that buffet, but oh well.
I guess you can prepare for a road trip if you want to see any touring bands.
Where’s Tool, Mars Volta, Avenged Sevenfold, The Flaming Lips, Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers this summer? Not in Middle Tennessee. They have forsaken Music City and the rest of the area.
I’d smack them all, if they came close enough that is.
Some recent articles in The Pulse have generated some debate (which is good) on the ever-increasing immigration. While I welcome the rich culture and cheesy burritos that accompany those coming from south of the border, some have raised a good point: it’s not racist at all to make everyone living in the U.S. and taking advantage of the schools, roads and other social programs to pay taxes.
Peace
