I respect your paper with the utmost regard, but I must say to Jason Johnson, if you’re gonna write a column, be sure and add at least a smidgen of evidence to your point (Gagflex: Welcome to Our War on Drugs, Vol. 1, Issue 24).

A dumb, senile woman decided to point a loaded firearm at a police officer. What did you, Jason, your readers or anyone else expect the officer to do? Shoot the bitch! I’m sure the world is at an astounding loss now that she is gone.

I am a firm believer that pot should be legal. No problem with that. I also have no problem with guns. I own several of them. However, I have enough COMMON SENSE to know that if I was to point any one of those guns at a fully armed and trained police officer, my chances would be nil.

Bringing the woman’s shooting into a discussion on marijuana is ridiculous.

I totally agree with his point, but I could think of a million other ways to prove it.
