Piano driven rock doesn’t hit Murfreesboro often, but Parachute Musical is a group that brings it to town and knows how to play.
The Nashville-based band has recently toured, playing songs off of their 2005 self-titled release along with a few newer songs. The band also finished recording songs for their new record with Derek Garten in Nashville. The album, Everything is Working Out Fine in Some Town, features a 19-piece orchestra and is to be released within the next few months.
Since the band’s line-up was finalized in 2005 they have played the Next Big Nashville music festival and made many fans throughout the Southeast. Given their past records and the live performances of the new songs off the forthcoming record, things are just starting to heat up for this band that wears their heart on their sleeves and songs.
Parachute Musical will play Jan. 11 at Wall Street with Murfreesboro legends Fluid Ounces and former member of Imaginary Baseball League, Aaron Robinson.
