By its end, the contest will have run every Tuesday night for 11 weeks. The first round lasted eight weeks and featured a different genre each night, before the series moved into the later rounds.

The last semifinalist will be chosen on May 27, when the featured genre will be rock.

The second and third prize winners will also receive cash prizes, and look for all eight finalists to play future gigs at Bluesboro.
