Country music artist Chris Young participated in a video shoot last week at Bluesboro in an effort to entice visitors to Murfresboro, the Nashville Star’s hometown.
The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitor’s Bureau video will feature the video as an intro to their new website. CVB Communications Coordinator Wendy Bryant said she was delighted to have someone in the national spotlight inviting visitors to Rutherford County.
“It’s just him talking about his hometown,” Bryant said.
During the shoot, Young discussed his own visits to Stones River Battlefield and the many great restaurants around town.
The new website, rutherfordchamber.org/visit, should be up by the first of the year.
