The Main Street Live Concert Series is now in full swing every Friday at 527 Main St. Through the rest of the year, bands from Murfreesboro and beyond will rock the house each weekend.
The first weekend kicked off with a special three-day presentation, featuring The Go Show, The Incredible Heat Machine, 1220, Pop Vulture, The Worsties, Gone City, The Last Straw, Warm Gun and Mike Anderson. Organizers hope this series will give students a reason to stay in town Fridays and make locals proud of the music scene in the ’Boro.
Friday, Sept. 5, brings pop-rock acts Miggs, Amherst and My Beautiful Disaster, while headbangers take over Friday, Sept. 12, as Voodoo Prophet, Los Cobra and Under the Earth do their hard rock thing.
