This column, until the election, is totally dedicated toward bashing liberal democrats and big-government, closed-minded people and getting Palin/McCain elected. After the election, whatever the outcome, the Straight Talk Press will announce more about the new political party we have formed called The Inclusive Party (IP).
I will work hard to make the IP strong so that it can bring real fiscal reform to our country, promote state’s rights and work to support the Constitution and the principles for which our nation was founded. The federal government should only be in existence to do three things:
1. Provide a strong national defense.
2. Coin currency.
3. Further interstate commerce.
I support Palin/McCain for their fiscally conservative principles and not their social principles. I feel that all socially excluding issues such as sex, race and religion should never be involved in politics whatsoever! Politics are about making money and moving our country forward and towards a stronger and better place to live for its citizens?black, white, green, purple, Christians, Jews, Buddhists and Muslims.
Many have died to ensure us the right to pursue our own means of happiness. The Constitution guarantees that right. Take the social issues off the table altogether. Whatever makes one happy and doesn’t negatively effect anyone else should be left alone.
Most voters usually end up voting with “their pockets” and for this reason I tend to vote for the Republicans. Most Democrats seem to have their grubby little hands out wanting a freebie from the government, except for those Democrats who get stuck voting that way because they feel as though they have been ostracized by the Republicans.
In this group we see many women who feel that they have the absolute right to have an abortion: the “it’s my body” battle cry. We agree with these women totally! And, as for the gay people out there, we have a couple words to hopefully brighten up your day. We could care less! Do what you want to do and when you want to do it! That is our political battle cry. We just want to do business with everyone. Making money from everyone is our goal! Now on the other side of the aisle we believe you Democrats have run many people into the Republican ranks by bringing up all of these social issues that you are for; you’re for this and you’re for that! None of that has anything to do with what a Democrat is or what a Republican is.
A Democrat believes in a bigger government and a Republican believes in a smaller government. The Inclusive Party is for people who are passionate about fiscal responsibility (smaller government) with absolutely no social hang-ups whatsoever.
We say that race, religion, sex, sexual likes and dislikes DO NOT MATTER! Making money and strengthening our communities are what we are for and making sure that the 10th amendment to the Constitution (state’s rights) is upheld and all other constitutional amendments are adhered to forever! We feel that putting all the power in the federal government’s hands is crazy!
They should be doing only the three things that we have already stated. We’ve got them deciding everything for us. There is a federal law for just about anything you can think of. In our opinion, if a state wants to legalize something, anything at all, then the federal government should not have a say in the matter.
Legalize it, tax it and go about your day! Stay out of our state business. It is our state not yours Mr. Federal Government. We decide what goes on in our state. Let’s get together and the states decide what should and shouldn’t be legal within our own borders. We’re not stupid! We really don’t need senators and congressman deciding issues for us.
Think about it, the only reason that branch of government was formed is because at the time there was no way for everyone to get to Washington to vote, so they sent representatives.
With today’s technologies we could all vote on any major legislation ourselves and with the greatest confidence that no backroom crooked lobbyist deals are changing our votes at the last minute because of money and favors being done.
The IP trusts Sarah Palin and John McCain way more than Barack Obama and his running mate, ol’ what’s his name sleepy-headed Boring Biden! Obama and Sleepy seem like snake oil salesmen and tent revival preachers. Take your change and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine!
Vote Palin/McCain, and remember the House and Senate, we need those too!
