Congrats to Josh Williams, who wins The Pulse’s Super Bowl contest, predicting the Steelers would win 24-21, only five total points from the actual final score of 27-23.
The Steelers have the most Super Bowl victories in NFL history with six, and a young head coach, who is passionate and well respected. We witnessed the longest play in Super Bowl history?in my opinion the most important play ever in the post-season. We also saw a bunch of dirty, towel swinging fans take over Tampa. This was a Super Bowl for the history books, one of the most exciting games I’ve ever witnessed, congrats to both teams and to the champions of the world, the Steelers.
Kurt Warner and Big Ben’s last drives were both very impressive and clutch at the end of the biggest game. Big Ben makes the defense run all over, back and forth and still manages to make big plays. Even with Ben’s final drive winning the game, I believe Warner’s drive was even more impressive. His last drive was full of passes against the best defense (they say) in the NFL. Old Kurt picked apart the secondary and threw 377 yards with 3 TDs for the game; he just left too much time on the clock after the last drive, but this man deserves to go to Canton.
So football is over folks; it’s sad, the Train will have to think of a new way to keep you fools entertained. Thanks to all who read the column. I’ll be back strong next year, and my team will be ready. And don’t give me a terrible towel! I hate you towel! You Mr. Towel I will destroy.
