Murfreesboro’s annual JazzFest hits the downtown square once again May 1 – 2. The event draws thousands of jazz fans and families for live music, food and activities for kids including a climbing wall and a collaborative painted mural. Jazz Guardians
58 U.S. Army soldiers are assigned to the Army Ground Forces Band, stationed at Ft. McPherson, Ga. The organization sends out smaller satellite ensembles including a rock band, brass quintet and, of course, an 18-member jazz ensemble, a.k.a. the Jazz Guardians.
