A Guy’s Guide to Bonnaroo Survival

Hey, every summer there’s always some awesome music going on in Manchester. Load up a few friends and head to Bonnaroo. Look, it’s Tennessee, in June, it’s going to be in the high 90s. Be prepared to deal with it. After attending the festival for a number of years, some get wise and bring creative devices to try and beat the heat, such as a small inflatable swimming pool for everyone to pour their slushy ice in for a refreshing dip, battery powered fans or piles of tarps to set up shelters for shade. But you aren’t required to get elaborate, all that you really need are:

Strap-on sandals.
Tevas are the editor’s pick. They’ve survived through the mud, dust, grass and gravel of the festival and have lived to tell about it.

Gold Bond Medicated Powder is a must-have for those especially sweaty areas. It’s like a crisp Alpine breeze.

H2O

Water, gallons of it. Can’t stress this enough. Have it with you at all times. Bring at least four gallons.

beef-jerky

Beef jerky. A large bag. And some Pop-Tarts.

If you need anything else, like Tylenol, sunscreen or a Band-Aid, ask your well-prepared girlfriend.
