Linebaugh Library is offering the 2010 Gardening Series through this spring. Participants will learn about flowers, plants, and different aspects, tips and problems that go along with gardening. Each month’s topic is seasonal and the knowledge gained can be used around that time.
The gardening classes are free and open to anyone. Participants can show up to any class and preregistration is not required.
The classes are taught by Tennessee Master Gardeners, experts in the field of horticulture. They have worked extensive hours and can provide help and expert information on many aspects of gardening. These classes are a fun and free way for community members to enjoy some springtime sunshine and learn a little about horticulture.
Most classes start at 10 a.m. The April 1 class will be at noon. Each class will be held at one of four locations: Linebaugh’s main branch on Vine Street in Murfreesboro, the MGL library at Patterson Park, the Smyrna library or the Eagleville Bicentennial library.
The April 1 class will be about arrangements from flowers in your own garden. Simple flowers often make the most beautiful arrangements. This is a free way to brighten and decorate any room.
