Named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 50 moments that changed the history of rock ‘n’ roll, the Bonnaroo music festival is returning to Tennessee for another year of magical music madness.
Located in the tiny town of Manchester, Bonnaroo has become one of the most famous festivals in the United States. Bringing attendees from all over the world, this festival holds over 80,000 people and hosts over 100 performers of music, comedy and a variety of other art forms.
As with any festival, the shows are only a portion of what makes the experience so incredible. When not watching performances, attendees can ride a Ferris Wheel, dance in the silent disco, visit a variety of vendors and enjoy an eclectic mix of different foods from all over.
While the Bonnaroo lineup has strayed from some of its original “hippie” roots, the lineup is still packed with a variety of artists that appeal to all different crowds. From Jay-Z to Stevie Wonder to Conan O’Brien, June 10-13 will be an incredible weekend for music lovers.
Bonnaroo will also be hosting local artist, Space Capone. A competition concert was held at The Mercy Lounge in Nashville where different bands performed and then were voted on by the first 500 people in attendance. The show was great and all the artists were awesome. When the votes were counted, Space Capone was named winner of “The Road to Bonnaroo” contest.
