Enjoy Jimmy Swaggart, Enjoy Life

Who knew killing WRVU would sound so good? My dial has never been tuned to 91.1 as much as it has been over the past couple of weeks. I hope they can keep the Classical format around. It’s nice to have some lovely orchestral or piano music available when the other public radio stations are jabbering on.

Yes, it is unfortunate to lose all of the Middle Tennessee people and their WRVU shows making them able to play what they want on air; the station had such a variety of material, but times are changing. Set you up a Pandora station list.

I’ve just realized Jimmy Swaggart is awesome at piano. Put that on your playlist if you want to hear some energetic and joyful stuff.

Want to take full advantage of your tax dollars? Whenever your air conditioning is down at your office or home and it’s the middle of summer in Tennessee, visit the library or City Hall or MTSU. I love some cool government buildings in the summertime.

Jr. has made it through his first two years, and in celebration, Mayo Family Publishing is unveiling a new magazine about all things B. Check it out!

So, the key to success: decide what you want to be, and then be it. Remember that.

Do you ever think that your life will be so wonderful, once “x” happens. And then that will set up “y” and allow you to accomplish “z,” and then, then everything will be situated and grand. At some hazy future moment in time, life will be worth enjoying.

I’m done thinking that. I’m there. I’ve arrived.

Today is the day to enjoy life and love the people around you. Don’t get stressed out about the details; stay positive and loving and get ready to be blessed.

And people don’t change. Or rarely change; gradually, when they do. So don’t expect yourself to change a whole lot. Love who you are.

To the SAVE team—thank you! Thanks for doing something to help and showing a faraway village Murfreesboro cares about their survival.

I’ve heard it said more than once that teenagers are generally self centered, unorganized and don’t know what’s going on in the world, so, yeah, good work. Let’s do it Murfreesboro, get to the $25,000 goal.

Everyone keep in mind there are people right in your neighborhood who could use help also. Having your whole village destroyed would put a community as a whole at a disadvantage. Still, while America is the land of opportunity, there are plenty who could use some help.

Bottom line, go to Hippie Hill if you need food, shelter or help.

Peace,
