Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

Score some points with your valentine and make this three-layer dessert delight. WARNING: Make sure you have plenty of milk on hand!

Brownie:
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup oil
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

In mixing bowl, stir together first four ingredients. Add wet ingredients and beat on a medium speed for three minutes. Stir in walnuts. Grease a 13″ x 9″ pan, pour in batter and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until center tests done. Cool completely.

Cookie Dough:
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 package of mini chocolate chips

Cream together butter and sugars in mixing bowl. Add milk and vanilla and mix well. Beat in flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread over whole pan of cooled brownies and chill in refrigerator until firm.

Glaze:
1/2 package of mini chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Melt chips and shortening in saucepan, stirring until smooth. Spread over cookie dough layer in pan. Immediately sprinkle with nuts, pressing down slightly on the nuts. Chill until glaze hardens. Slice and enjoy!
