Youth Empowerment through Arts & Humanities (YEAH!) is having its second annual dinner gala in support of its 2012-2013 season of programs. The gala is hosted and co-sponsored by UnCorked at Maple Street Grill on the square in Murfreesboro and will be held on Saturday night, Oct. 27. In keeping with the time of the year, the event will be a “Zombie Prom,” and all attending are invited to come in their best 1960s style prom attire with a zombie twist! There will be prizes for best costumes, and of course, the election of the Prom Queen and Prom King. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with drinks and will be followed by dinner.
After dinner, the dance will begin, with Snake Face and the River Spirits providing 1960s era dance music for prom goers’ listening and dancing pleasure. The band began as one of YEAH!’s Rock Block program bands, and has gone on to play numerous concerts and shows.
