WadeHayes

wade-hayes-old-enough-to-know-better

Wade Hayes achieved some success in the country music world in the mid-’90s with his song (and album of the same name) “Old Enough to Know Better,” and has since put together a respectable career including 5 Top 10 singles, a handful of other album releases and, more recently, playing guitar on tour with Alabama’s Randy Owen. He had a very rough year battling colon cancer in 2012, but the disease has since been declared to be in remission, and Hayes is back in action. He is donating all proceeds from downloads of his latest track, “Is It Already Time?”, to the Colon Cancer Alliance, and is vocal about encouraging others to get their checkups and colonoscopies early in order to catch cancer in earlier stages than he did. Catch a special appearance by Hayes at Rooster’s on Friday, June 7, at 7 p.m. followed by Southern Proof.
