Mayday Brewery is full of some of Nashville’s finest in Southern rock and blues tonight: theatrically sleazy, heavy blues rockers Thelma & the Sleaze, scuzzy garage rock trio Red Wine Hangover, vintage rock duo Blackfoot Gypsies, and Southern-rock staples Static Revival.
The event, billed as Hot Chicken & Jorts (jeans cut into shorts . . . ) South, will also include corn hole, food trucks, a Trailer Park King and Queen contest and a rock, paper scissors tournament. Festivities kick off at 1 p.m.
Additionally, Mayday will donate 40 percent of beer sales to The OASIS Center, an organization that offers safety and support to Nashville’s most vulnerable and disconnected youth.
