Matt Lund and The Lund McVey Group present a concert to release their self-titled album on Friday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Saunders Fine Arts Room 101 (the Jazz Room) on the Middle Tennessee State University campus. The Lund McVey Group is their first full-length studio album following the 2011 release Live at the Walnut House, and features 10 original jazz and fusion tunes composed by Lund, who also performs on electric guitar. Lund is a graduate of the MTSU jazz program and has been adjunct faculty there for six years. The group includes additional MTSU jazz alumni Jason McVey on alto saxophone and Adam Bond on electric and upright bass, as well as Jerry Steinhilber on drums and Shonna Lund on vocals.
