Tool and Primus to Play Bridgestone Arena

Experimental hard rock and metal outfit Tool will return to Nashville for the first time in 15 years with a show at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, Jan. 23. This will be the band’s first show in Middle Tennessee since their 2007 performance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Opening acts will be Primus and 3TEETH. While this show is noteworthy enough, it’s also worth pointing out the vast amount of scalping that’s taking place for this show. Much like the Adele shows at the same venue, many fans were disappointed that they could not buy tickets when they went on sale. However, buyers are reselling tickets on StubHub for mark-ups of well over 100 percent. As of this writing, more than five percent of tickets are being resold on the site, which might not seem like much, but that adds up to at least 716 fans that won’t be seeing Tool and company unless they shell out some major cash.
