Mayday Brewery (521 Old Salem Rd.) is the place to be on Saturday, Aug. 27, for a full day of live music, food trucks, a silent auction and local brews. In addition to the main event—Rockin’ 4 Rescue, an annual fundraising benefit for Operation Education Animal Rescue—Mayday will also celebrate its fourth annual Hot Chicken and Jorts event (so wear your best jean shorts!). The Jackillacs, Red Wine Hangover, Ted Drozdowski’s Scissormen and Thunderfrog are among local bands set to perform during the day.
