Blue Raider Realty Supports Alive Hospice

Blue Raider Realty, the real estate brokerage created for students of Middle Tennessee State University, recently toured the construction site of Alive Hospice’s new 20,000-plus-square-foot facility, learned about the financing and development of the project, and presented a check to support the mission of this worthwhile organization. Alive Hospice currently serves more than 3,600 families in Middle Tennessee with compassionate, end-of-life care and is opening a new 10-bed facility in Murfreesboro, located just off Medical Center Parkway near St. Thomas.

The MTSU students who are part of Blue Raider Realty pledge a portion of their commissions to provide scholarships to future students and to help other causes in their community.

“Of course we want to teach our students about real estate and help them get started in a great career—but we also want to teach them to be a positive part of their communities and to develop habits of giving back at a young age. If our students can learn how to turn their successes into making the world a better place, then we have really accomplished something wonderful,” Dr. Philip Seagraves, the MTSU Real Estate Program Director says.

One of Seagraves’ students, Jacob “Chance” Cunningham explained, “We’ve all been given such an amazing opportunity and it feels great to be a part of helping others, especially the families served by Alive Hospice.”
