Growing up in New Jersey, Lacey Caroline began penning songs at age 14. After honing her craft, joining a band and earning the opportunity to open for Bon Jovi, and play stages as big as Metlife Stadium, in her home state, the musician relocated to Nashville to chase her dreams and pursue her recording and songwriting career. She now performs in area venues such as the legendary Bluebird Cafe, and says she enjoys blending driving rock guitars with the timeless craft of songwriting and the storytelling traditions of country music. She says she loves it when she can give a “sense of relief and expression to someone else through a song . . . I want to give someone a way to say what they were feeling, but maybe they didn’t have the words.” Lacey Caroline brings her rocking country/pop tunes, “full of grit, heart, and electric guitar,” to Puckett’s on the Murfreesboro Public Square on April 19.
