Murfreesboro Photographers Capture Fall

The Pulse put out a call last month to Murfreesboro photographers to submit their best fall shots and received numerous contributions from talented local photographers.

Thanks to Kristin Amaro, Casey Malone, Barbara Maloney, Darren Rankins, Sarah Rausch and Melissa Scott for allowing Pulse readers to enjoy the beauty of Middle Tennessee during the fall season through your lens.

Photo Connect Murfreesboro, a group that aims to bring together and inspire Murfreesboro-area photography enthusiasts, has begun issuing a monthly photo challenge to all who would like to participate.

Recently, the group announced a challenge of “freezing motion.”

Previous challenges have included macro photography, self-portraits, wildlife, street photography, leading lines, tight-crop, and marketing and product shots.

Photo Connect Murfreesboro holds meetings the second Thursday of each month in the Linebaugh Public Library board room, on the second floor. All photographers and photo enthusiasts are welcome to participate in Photo Connect Murfreesboro challenges and meetings, whether professionals or hobbyists. This group is a tool to connect, teach, learn, exchange resources and, most importantly, promote photography in Murfreesboro, according to organizers.
