Spiritual Warfare: Good vs. Evil will present a unique, live walk-though production the weekend prior to Easter Sunday. Event organizers say they aim to get attendees thinking about “the constant spiritual warfare of good versus evil that is happening around us, every day.”
The same property that hosts Dead Land Haunted Woods in the fall, located near Cedars of Lebanon State Park in between Lebanon and Murfreesboro, will host the Good vs. Evil presentation.
As Ephesians says, “our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens,” and the Good vs. Evil team wants to get its attendees thinking about putting on the whole armor of God to be prepared to fight this spiritual battle.
Admission is $10, and 100 percent of proceeds will benefit area charities Greenhouse Ministries and A Soldier’s Child Foundation. The actors are all volunteers and the venue has been donated.
Greenhouse Ministries, based in Murfreesboro, aims to transition area families from a situation of hopelessness into realizing their full potential through various programs including a learning center, legal clinic, food pantry, housing programs, occupational therapy, a nursing clinic, a bicycle program and more.
A Soldier’s Child Foundation serves children of fallen military personnel by celebrating children’s birthdays, hosting summer camps and facilitating college scholarships.
Spiritual Warfare: Good vs. Evil will take place at 7040 Murfreesboro Rd., Lebanon, on
Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, from 7–10:30 p.m.
