Boro Art Crawl Set for Friday, Oct. 11, in Downtown Murfreesboro

Boro Art Crawl returns to downtown Murfeesboro on Friday, Oct. 11. The event, held one Friday evening from 6–9 p.m. every other month, features local and regional artists displaying and selling their artwork at many downtown-area businesses.

The October Crawl includes work from Jennifer McGuire, a watercolor artist, and Audrey Wallace, who creates lino prints “mostly of animals, nature and abstract thoughts,” on display at Boro Town Cakes.

The Walnut House will show work from a diverse group of artists: Rachel Odom, Amber Langford, Karen Watkins, Celeste Akari Davis and Bruce Frazier.

The City Hall Rotunda features a big collaborative exhibit with work from Susan Truex, Ryan Frizzell, Carol Berning, Mary Veazie, Lisa Sims, Abby Reish, Mira Patel, Diane Stockard, Elizabeth Bray and many others.

Find cacti paintings from Becky Dickovitch, mixed media art from Chara Nicole and paintings by Jennifer Taylor at Transparent Heart Yoga, along with a wide variety of other painted, sculpted, knitted, photographed, wired and strung creations from local artists.
