Perceptions of Reality Includes Work From 40 Artists at MTSU Todd Art Gallery

The MTSU Department of Art and Design will offer Perceptions of Reality, a new exhibit featuring 120 works of art from 40 different artists, in the Todd Art Gallery at MTSU through Aug. 17.

A collaborative juried event curated by Dr. Barbara and Leroy Hodges, this showcase features diverse artists bringing unique stories and perspectives meant to intrigue, inspire and bridge the gap between reality and perception.

“Everything Under The Sun” by Jairo Prado and “Crown” by Destiney Powell

Artists address pressing issues such as education reform, culture, PTSD, social media, the environment, civil rights, politics, AI and other topics through works included in Perceptions of Reality.

“The Token Specimen” by Sisavanh Houghton
