Easy Bisquick Blackberry Cobbler

Total time: 60–70 minutes
Ingredients:
4 cups blackberries, fresh or frozen
¾ cup white sugar, divided
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground ginger
½ cup butter
1¼ cups Bisquick
¾ cup milk
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine your blackberries, 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon and ground ginger. Let the berries rest for 20–30 minutes.
Melt your butter and pour it into an 8×8 baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine your Bisquick, milk and remaining sugar until mixed together. Pour the Bisquick mix over your melted butter. DO NOT MIX THEM! Pour your blackberry mixture over the Bisquick and butter. DO NOT MIX THEM!
Bake for 50–60 minutes.
Notes:
If using frozen blackberries, make sure they are thawed before baking.
Also, 10 minutes before you remove your cobbler from the oven, you can also sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons of sugar on top if desired.
