Webb School Honors Keon Johnson, Retires Number 23

The Webb School in Bell Buckle held a jersey retirement celebration for alumnus Keon Johnson on Feb. 25.

Johnson, wearing number 23, played high school basketball for Webb, averaging over 25 points per game before he went on to play for the University of Tennessee for a single season (2020–21) prior to his entry into the NBA.

He is currently a member of the Brooklyn Nets.

The 6-foot 5-inch Johnson has some serious get-up; Keon recorded a max vertical leap of 48 inches at his NBA Draft Combine workout, the highest maximum vertical leap in combine history and a record that still stands.
