Local golfer Eli Wortman sunk a hole-in-one during a July round at Murfreesboro’s Bloomfield Links.

The 12-year-old hit the shot on Hole 1—on his very first swing of the day.

“It was such a surprising and special moment to witness,” said Eli’s mother, Katelyn Wortman.
