Collin Willis hit a beautiful shot on the 90-yard No. 4 hole at Murfreesboro’s Bloomfield Links Golf Course while playing in a June 5 junior tournament.
“We saw [the ball] land on the green and roll, but from the tee we thought it rolled off the green because it disappeared,” Collin’s father, Shaun Willis, said. “The closer we got to the green, we couldn’t find it anywhere. Collin decided to look in the hole and there it was.”

Those nearby began cheering and Collin, a local 10-year-old home-school student who participates in the Linksters program at Old Fort Golf Course, realized he’d shot a hole in one.
“We’ve never had one in the family,” the elder Willis said. “It’s something we’ll always remember.”
