Center Displays Stockard’s Paintings

Former Murfreesboro resident Diane Stockard will adorn the gallery at Murfreesboro/Rutherford Country Center for the Arts with an exhibit of some of her vibrant, lively paintings through the end of February.

Now residing in Memphis, Stockard describes herself as “a self-taught artist with a blessing from God and my mom.”

Also a big music fan, many of the artist’s subjects are blues and jazz musicians.

A reception will be held from 6–8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7.

The Center is located at 110 W. College St. and is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tues.-Sat, and before and after productions in the theater. For more information, call (615) 904-ARTS.
