Area scooter enthusiasts gathered on the Murfreesboro Public Square the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 7, to hang out for a bit and then go for a ride together.
To the group, scooting around is a fun and inexpensive way to experience the roads.
One rider, Carol, said the best part about having a scooter was “having to fill my gas tank with $4 for 90 miles.”
The riders talked of long rides they had been on and owning and maintaining various scooter models.
Oliver said his favorite ride so far was a trip passing through Murfreesboro to Chattanooga to Birmingham.
