Let’s first start with thoughts and prayers going to all of those affected by the destruction and chaos these tornadoes caused last Friday. Through all this devastation and loss, this city shows its true colors. I’ve seen many local people with chainsaws or just an extra hand help those in need. I couldn’t imagine that kind of loss, but through support these people and this city will see better days.
In NHL news, our local Predators missed the opportunity to seize a playoff spot. This team has been on fire since the All-Star break, but it was just riddled with injuries towards the end of the season.
I was witness to many great games and some hit-you-in-the-mouth fights. The Pred’s were fighting all season long for that eighth spot and just lost a few towards the end, being only three points out of playoff contention. Maybe next year you fang finger freaks.
There was a lot of good and if you’re injury free next year, we can shut the puck out of all them haters.
I am also ready for some NBA playoff games; I enjoy the regular season but love the playoffs, baby! The problem with the NBA is we focus on individual players and not the team. In football, yeah, we talk about stars, but a star won’t get you a title; a great team will. It could be the same in the NBA, but we love to harp on King James, Kobe, D Wizzy, the Shaq Daddy?all great players, but a team wins championships.
The playoffs are exciting: back and forth to each teams’ home and the best team moves on. The Cavs got my vote this year; I hate the Celtics and hate Boston fans?you smell of rotten bologna and your women smell of stinky tuna. Nah, I am just playing?I love Boston.
Well that’s it people of the ’Boro; God willing, football season will come soon. Football is a sport of men among men and there is no better thing in the world, besides beautiful women and Mexican food.
Like I always say, if you got a problem with the Train, come get some, and like big Al, when you see a hater, stomp him in the head.
