By Ricky Thomas
As a young man walks
but in an old man’s dream
He walks in a corridor
with pictures on each wall
As the lights are dimmed
he seems to have lost his way
But an old man’s scar
they scream and bled for you all
And so he will continue
through this older man’s dream
He’s led further in
to the end of the hall
Where his child he sleeps
and a light still shines
Old man breaks down crying
he knows his world will fall
?
He cried: Listen to me, my son
for your brightest day has begun
Find that one that is within your soul
this life could be some fun
And though life may have just begun
I give you all that I have
For you were once a dream
and now the life
That I have
