In case you didn’t know already, Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina is now open in Murfreesboro at the Shoppes at Gateway Corner (between the new hospital and Red Robin). To celebrate its grand opening, Salsarita’s is offering some really good, limited time offers that I consider GREAT FINDS because the discount is greater than 10 percent.

Monday – Retail and hotel employees receive 25 percent off any entrée
Tuesday – FREE kids meal with purchase of entrée
Wednesday – Public service night – 25 percent off any entrée for all city, county and state employees
Thursday – Buy one entrée and get half off the second entrée for all healthcare professionals
Friday – FREE chips, salsa and drink for students and teachers

The fresh-Mex food is prepared to order and very scrumptious. Menu items include traditional Mexican fare, such as tacos, burritos and nachos, and this location also offers pizza.

And now for something completely different . . .
Did you know Goodwill is now online? It is, at www.shopgoodwill.com. Similar to eBay, this site offers auctions and “buy it now” items. Items range from size 7.5 wooden clogs to electric Razor scooters. However, unlike our local store, these items come from all over the nation. The site is well organized and allows users to search for specific items. Shipping is extra on these auctions, but sometimes the deals are worth it. I found two Tiffany silver candlesticks, Gucci sunglasses, a 6-Million Dollar Man Halloween costume and a variety bag of rabbit pelts. The site is worth looking at because it’s not nearly as popular as eBay and so your online treasure hunting is still exciting. This is a great place to look for some unique holiday gifts. And don’t forget the 50 percent off the entire store sale the first Saturday of the month at our local goodwill store at 710 Memorial Blvd.
