I’ll admit, I played nine holes as I got some shots at the disc golf course last week. Couldn’t resist, it’s that time of year.
And it’s free.
Here’s to attempting and accomplishing well defined goals, like throwing a disk towards a basket very far away until you eventually make it in said basket. The best part is, if you get it there more efficiently than your friends, you can make them the object of ridicule and shame.
I might not be the most accurate thrower, but at least my exaggerated, comical form intimidates and confuses the opponent.
I’ll try my hands at the traditional variety of golf soon. I promise Zach, I’ll come out and play soon. What was the Papa thinking when he let you go. Aye, you’re a good sailor you are, brave and true.
Anyway, hope the recent tornadoes did little damage to everyone’s stuff. I’m chasing them next time.
Todd tells me good video footage of twisters touching down can bring $10,000 or more. That’s how you tame a twister, profit from it.
Hey, we have to go through the April showers before summer comes.
At least it’s picnic time. Sarah and I know the value of barbecue and a walk in the park. I’m not sure I walked off all of it, though. And oh my stars, the Easter dinners. Delicious.
I’ll have to feature my grandmother in the food section soon.
Question: How do you make vegetables tasty?
Answer: add better foods like cheese, butter and bacon.
I also attened Hands Down Eugene’s CD release over Easter weekend. Look for them to hit the ’Boro soon and look for a review of their new CD in next month’s issue.
Guitar Town, the newest of many music stores in town, will celebrate its grand opening with an outdoor show Saturday, April 29. Come hear the editor try to play bass, along with a whole afternoon of good bands.
