Shelter Cove, an alt/pop band signed with MTSU’s Match Records, premiered its new single, “Kaleidoscope Heart,” during a Rock the Vote event recorded at Belmont University on Sept. 22.
The concert, streaming on Rock the Vote’s Facebook and YouTube sites, featured artists such as Moon Taxi and Bren Joy, among others, representing several Middle Tennessee colleges and universities.
The nonpartisan nonprofit Rock the Vote uses pop culture, music, art and technology to engage young people in politics.
“We are so excited to be a part of an event encouraging young people to vote and use our voices in this year’s election,” says Shelter Cove vocalist Abbie Garrett.
