The Great Escape will open all of its five locations two hours early for this year’s Record Store Day, Saturday, April 23, which will put their hours of business at 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For this year’s event, The Great Escape plans to host local food trucks and live music.

The Great Escape will also give away up to five free albums from its 99-cent LP/CD section during RSD. Customers will not be required to make a purchase to receive free records from the business’ special section during the event. The business will also offer free tote bags and buttons and other giveaways at all locations while supplies last.

It should be mentioned that special and limited-edition records will only be available to purchase in-store—only at independent record stores—and may sell out quickly. They are first-come, first-serve, and can not be purchased online or over the phone.
