Cinnamon Honey Butter

Cinnamon Honey Butter

Ingredients:
1 stick salted butter at room temperature
3 Tbls. powdered sugar
2 Tbls. local honey
2 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Cream your butter in a bowl with a hand mixer or stand-up mixer. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well integrated. Scrape the sides of your bowl while mixing for best results.

Put cinnamon honey butter in a small glass jar and serve on bread or your favorite baked goods.

Your butter can be stored on the counter at room temperature for 1-2 days, the refrigerator for 1 month and frozen for 6 months.

Notes:
I used T&L Honey, a local honey you can find at the Smyrna Depot Farmers Market. You can use your favorite honey, but make sure it is not a hard or whipped honey.

Adjust the amount of cinnamon and honey to your preference.

___

For local honey and an abundance of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, visit the Smyrna Depot Farmers Market every Saturday morning through September in downtown Smyrna, Tennessee.
