Main Street Murfreesboro’s final Friday Night Live concert of the 2018 season will feature Everyday People, from 6:30–9:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7.
Wendell Bigsby-Church and Katrice Donaldson brought Everyday People together in 2011 through their mutual love of music and performance.
Wendell (“Bizz”), eldest son of Nashville legend Jimmy Church, has opened up for the Godfather of Soul James Brown, the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, Little Richard and many others. His lead male vocals possess a smoky, rich, soulful sound full of passion and emotion.
Katrice has sung backup for Yolanda Adams, BeBe Winans, Kirk Franklin and many other elite artists. Her female lead vocals offer a dynamic range from smooth and sultry to power-house diva, adding a sometimes-gentle, sometime-fierce women’s touch to Everyday People.
The band hosts a variety of other dynamic Middle Tennessee talents among its players, who have dedicated their lives to their craft.
