When their band director assigns them to coordinate the band’s Family Day fundraiser together, Olivia and Evan develop a more amiable relationship. But when only one of them gains acceptance into the prestigious Highland fellowship, it comes at the cost of something akin to betrayal. Both Olivia and Evan have to face the music and decide if their budding romance is worth fighting for, or if forgiveness and giving up a dream is too high a price to pay. Shaw grew up looking for Narnia in wardrobes and scribbling away like Jo March.
