The French Twist, Leslie’s Shoppe, Bess Cosmetics and The Murfreesboro Pulse teamed up this Mother’s Day to offer one local mother a day of pampering and beauty.

While many sent in entries claiming their mother was the most deserving, only one could win. The lucky winner, nominated by her daughter, Kelly, was Stephanie Bowen.

“My Mama works really hard while putting herself last,” Kelly said of her mother. “She has been serving her community for the past 25 years as a nurse.”

Bowen, a mother of three, went to The French Twist on June 6 to claim her hair cut and style, facial, manicure and other services, and also received great prizes from Leslie and Bess. Additionally, Big Apple Bagels treated her to lunch.
