Murfreesboro’s own Bryan Turner had the opportunity to open for Willie Nelson and John Fogerty July 25 as he performed on a second Starwood stage to a large crowd before the two legends took the main stage.

“As a Nashville native and a huge fan of Willie and John, I couldn’t be more thrilled about playing Starwood with them,” Turner said.

Turner, an MTSU alumnus, completes his soul rock sound with bassist Michael Brown and John Shade on drums.
